Hey Baby Girl.
Well, it will soon be a year since you left us. Not a
day goes by I don’t miss you, and your beautiful blue
eyes. Oh, what I would give to just look into your big
blue eyes one more time, and feel you wrap your arms
around me, and give me a big hug like you did every day.
I miss helping you with your homework, reading all the
books we had to read at school. I miss all the Girl Scout
meetings. Remember the day you got hurt, we were
gonna pick up your order form to sell the candy, but we
never made it. Me and your Aunt Traci sold it in memory
of you. I got all your badges and pins put up for your little
sissy T’J. Baby Girl I’m all the time catching myself going
to pick you up from school, and once I get in the parking
lot, and realize you’re not there for me to pick up, all the pain
and hurt come rushing back just as if it had happened that
very moment all over again, and all the tears, and why’s, come
to mind, and all I can do is subside the heartache with know-
ing you are at the right hand of God Almighty. You are His
little angel now. Baby, you have your real wings now, you can
fly... Always know Amy and Daddy love you, and as that song
I played for you says, “I’ll see you again someday.” I love you,
Baby Girl, with all my heart. Look over T’J, Dwight and
Cameron, they need their big sister.
