Dear Mpundu,

This is mom wishing you a Happy Heavenly Birthday in Heaven on 26th. You must be a big girl now at 18. I imagine how you are with your long black hair and beautiful eyes. I miss you so muuuuuuch Mpundu, I surely do and no amount of time will erase you from my mind.

Chikwa turned 12 too, on the 20th, as usual she cannot celebrate hers alone. I can't go on baby, tears are flowing like a flood. I always pray to GOD to forever keep you at His right hand till rapture. I still have you in my "Mom" heart.

My Dearest Angel Mpundu,

I write to wish you Happy birthday, gone to eternal sleep much too soon. You will turn 17 tomorrow the 26th July, 2005 and I thought I should write to you before the actual day to give you enough time to read it. On 23rd I came to see you and to wish you a happy heavenly bithday on 26th. I prayed to God to rest your soul in eternal peace.

My Baby this is the second birthday without you and I tell you it's difficult to fathom. It's quite difficult especially for your kid sister Chikwa who turned 11 on the 20th, she says b/days are no longer the same without you, as you used to celebrate together every last saturday of July, so this weekend will be full of tears as the two of you would have gone out. Where is Chikwa and I going to look for you tomorrow? We beg for a sign from you my Sweet Angel, or visit either of us and tell us what to look for in order to see you. Can we look up to the Clouds in heaven to see our sweet angel Nana at sunrise or at sunset, Please my baby send us a sign, we are pleading for it. Please keep watching over us and send us your love and strength as we hold hands together to think of you and the good times we had, with a smile on our faces and not with burdened heart. Please know that you are forever loved and missed and will remain forever in our hearts to walk with you until we meet with a hug from you.
